Riaz Siddiqi is a Managing Partner of Denham Capital, responsible for the firm's Power & Carbon Group. He brings 29 years of experience to the firm. In addition to his responsibilities as Managing Partner, he is a member of the Executive Committee, Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committee. Riaz is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi, and speaks some French as well. Prior to joining Denham Capital in 2004, Riaz was President and CEO of Capstone Global Energy, and before that he held Managing Director and other executive roles at Cinergy Capital and Trading and other Cinergy companies. Previously, he served as Manager, Market Management Research, for the Electric Power Research Institute, a Project Manager for Georgia Power Company, Senior Financial Analyst for San Diego Gas & Electric, and Systems Analyst at Southern Company, after spending some time as a Project Engineer in Pakistan.

 

Riaz volunteers for Development in Literacy - www.dil.org  , Angel Flight and Unity Productions Foundation and the Organization of Pakistani American Entrepreneurs. Riaz received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan University of Energy & Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at Mississippi State University.
