| Riaz is a partner in the Silicon Valley office of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm. With 20 years of experience, Riaz enjoys an active practice in the areas of company formation and seed/venture capital financing, licensing and technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, and domestic and international joint ventures. Riaz represents a broad range of clients including emerging technology start-ups, investors and Fortune 500 companies in Silicon Valley. Riaz is also actively involved in venture capital and acquisition transactions related to the Middle East, India and Pakistan, and recently represented Naseeb Networks, Inc. in a venture capital financing led by ePlanet Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Riaz is a frequent speaker at national conferences, Bar programs, and in-house events. Riaz receiveived his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and his B.A. from Rice University where he achieved a triple major in Economics, English Literature and Political Science. |
