Tarek is a seasoned global finance professional with a track record of originating and executing financial advisory mandates, representing an aggregate transaction volume over $20 Billion. Tarek currently focuses on providing independent corporate finance, restructuring and investment advisory services to investment funds and portfolio firms in the energy and industrials sectors globally.
Most recently, Tarek was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs International, based in London. At Goldman, he focused on corporate finance advisory services for Natural Resources and Diversified Industrials clients. Prior to this, Tarek spent five years at J.P.Morgan in New York within the Mergers & Acquisitions advisory practice. Tarek has extensive experience across a range of transactions, including mergers, buy-outs and IPOs for leading corporate clients and private equity funds, and has advised on transactions ranging in size from $100 million to over $10 billion.
Tarek has joint B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
