The “Director, Customer Acquisition” for Travelocity is expected to be a key revenue and profit driver for the company, developing and implementing the strategies that will ultimately drive profitable, organic growth. In this effort, they will leverage a wide variety of online Marketing vehicles, designed to drive acquisition, including online display, mobile advertising, affiliate advertising, SEM, and strategic partnerships. This work will be done in collaboration with a number of other functional leaders across the company, including Analytics, Product, Customer Care, and Web Site. This Marketing leader will report to Mr. Dan Garzia, head of Direct Marketing for the company. His responsibilities include Acquisition, Retention, Innovation, SEO, Social Media and Advanced Marketing Analytics. Dan has held a variety of marketing and leadership roles in company’s ranging from Fortune 100 financial companies to dotcom start-ups. Most recently Dan launched the Direct‑to-Consumer group at Travelers, responsible for Digital Acquisition. Dan works in the San Francisco office.
