OPEN Silicon Valley Monthly Mentorship Breakfasts provide a terrific opportunity for entrepreneurs and industry professionals to meet with experts in their respective field, in a relaxed, informal setting, to build relationships and get valuable business and career feedback. Participants deliver an elevator pitch for 30 to 60 seconds, and the guest mentor provides immediate feedback, enabling fast, effective, accessible mentoring and relationship development.
This OPEN-SV Mentorship Breakfast event is hosted by Malika Junaid.
Malika Junaid is an award winning Architect, founder and principal of M•Designs Architects. She has won several awards for her exceptional work including a prestigious Environmental Quality Award for the most Green home from the City of Menlo Park, CA. Malika is currently a Planning Commissioner for the City of Los Altos, CA. She is the founder and Director of the the Pakistan Green Building Council, an organization working with private and government organizations in promoting sustainable building practices in Pakistan.
Malika is amongst one of the very few female charter members of Organization of Pakistan Entrepreneur of North America (OPEN). She also currently serves on the board of Development in Literacy (DIL) Silicon Valley chapter. Malika is serving her third year as the Vice President of Business Networking International (BNI) in Mountain View. Malika dedicates a great deal of her time helping non-profit organizations in USA and in Pakistan. Malika strives to bridge the gap between East and West and is always uniting Pakistan and the United States on one platform or another. Malika lives in Los Altos, CA with her Husband Junaid Qurashi and her two daughters Mishal and Alisha.
This will be our first OPEN-SV Mentorship Breakfast event hosted by a woman Charter Member.
