Our mission: To help women develop and build capacities and skills, and support the advancement of women at all levels of their careers and across all sectors.

WLF 2012 seeks to inspire, empower and celebrate women who have created their own paths, excelled in their fields, and achieved both professional and personal successes. OPEN SV’s Women Leadership Forum is a great opportunity for women to meet, network and make lasting personal and valuable professional connections which will no doubt enrich your pursuits. We are fortunate to have an impressive group of leaders and entrepreneurs in technology, finance, social enterprise, medicine, social media and more in the Silicon Valley.

Be inspired and motivated by stories of remarkable women in the areas of Social Entrepreneurship and Women Empowerment. They had a vision to change the status quo and made it work for many.

Speakers:

Dina McKinney, Corporate Vice President,  AMD

Dina McKinney is the Corporate Vice President of AMD’s “Bulldozer” Core, the company’s next-generation core that will be the foundation for tomorrow’s notebooks, desktops and servers. In the company’s 40-plus year history as an innovator, Dina is the first female designer to lead a major core team. The technology recently achieved a Guinness World Record for the “Highest Frequency of a Computer Processor” in September and Dina was featured on Fox Business News.

Dina is passionate about helping other women succeed in technical careers and Dina is a founding executive member of the AMD Women’s Forum,  a group founded to encourage the attraction, advancement, retention and promotion of women within AMD.

Dina has been a microprocessor designer for over 25 years, holding various positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Motorola/IBM/Apple alliance on the PowerPC, and Alchemy Semiconductor.
